Satin Dress- Outdoor Ceremony in AUGUST!!

So I had the hardest time getting a dress that fit (plus sized bride)and that I loved.  I wasn't even thinking about material when I purchased.  Went for my fitting on Saturday and realized how hot hot hot my dress is... I was sweating in my dress in the salon.  Any suggestions on ways to stay cool?  My dress is a Maggie Sottero- style Brittany.

Regardless of the material, you are going to be hot. We had an indoor wedding last month, and I was still sweating at an air conditioned reception. With all of the people, nerves, excitement, etc, you are going to be hot no matter what.

Maybe someone else has some ideas, but that is just my opinion on the question.
  • I would just have plenty of tissues to wipe your sweat.  The majority of your body is covered by the dress, so most people won't even know you are sweating. Make sure to have a good antiperspirant, and put it in areas you would most likely sweat (cleavage, inner thighs etc).

    Hope that helps!
