I think it's fine. Generally, dresses are just supposed to "brush" the floor, not be so long that it drags around.

That's exactly how mine was.  Trust me, you'd rather have it slightly off the ground than worry about tripping on it all day

Your dress length is perfect.  It shouldn't touch the ground because you will either step on it or find yourself holding it up.  You should be able to walk comfortably in it without even thinking of it getting in your way with that length.

Formal gowns should be 1/2" off the floor.

Ditto jagore.  Hard to tell from the picture but if it's slightly off the floor with your shoes on, about half an inch like skippy suggested, you should be good to go.

Its perfect, you dont' want it touching the floor unless you want to trip over it all night.

It's good.  You do not want it too long.  My seamstress insisted my dress needed to be touching the floor which is not good.  On carpet, I start to trip on it and you cannot see my cute shoes even on hard floors.

i think it's fine. don't make it too long that you'll end up lifting it when you walk. try the gown with your shoes on too. that will help you see if it's not too short though.

Did you bring your wedding shoes to the fitting? If you are wearing heels, that will make a difference in the length.
