Hi ladies, I'm heading to the Caribbean for a destination wedding (as a guest) in a few weeks and have picked out a pleated chiffon dress to wear. Pleated chiffon is clearly the perfect choice of material for travel, haha. The dress will need some serious professional intervention before it can be worn - it was wrinkled as hell in the store and I have not worn it since I bought it. What do I do?
1. Have it steamed/pressed at home, transport it with my husband's suit in its travel bag, and risk having to have it steamed/pressed again at the hotel if it gets wrinkled along the journey?
2. Pack it as it is and have it done at the hotel and perhaps risk the hotel not being able to do it? We arrive 24 hours before the wedding.
Any input would be much appreciated!
