AA #2100 - change to sweetheart neckline? huh??

So we were at the Alfred Angelo store tonight for FI's daughter's prom dress fitting.... The seamstress and I were talking afterwards about my upcoming first bridal gown fitting.  She mentioned how amazing the dress would look on me if she changed it to a sweetheart neckline.  I looked at her very strangely and said "maybe??". I don't even understand how this would turn out or how it would be done - I can't picture it?  Keep in mind, I'm a plus size girl with a C cup.   Here's a pic of the bodice and neckline.. Thoughts??

I personally like it the way it is and am having a hard time picturing that neckline as a sweetheart

I agree with PP. I think the "Crumb catcher' feature of this dress is what helps make it special. Do you feel uncomfortable with the way the dress looks/fits now? If you don't then I wouldn't change it! What if you hated it after?

I absolutely love the dress - i had no intentions of changing the neckline - just thought it was odd for the seamstress to say.  I want to make sure I'm not crazy for thinking she's crazy

I agree with the PP's. I love the neckline the way it is now.

I like the dress the way it is and making it into a sweetheart would make it more exposing and detract from the beautiful neckline it has which I think differentiates this dress.

I think if you changed it to a sweetheart neckline then the top material would probably be tied down and closer to your chest as opposed to the very pretty 'fan' type design now... if that makes sense?

I really like it the way it is. I wouldn't change it.

I wouldn't change it either!  But then again, it's also the dress that I wore for my wedding!
