Desperately Seeking Justin Alexander 8465 also what size do I buy?!

Hello Fellow Knoties,

I am new to this whole posting thing, but I do enjoy reading everyone elses posts. Here is a little about me: I am getting married in January 2013 and I have my dress to walk down the aisle, but I don't think it will be the best to dance around in all night. The first dress I tried on was the Justin Alexander 8465, and I fell in love with it. However, I wasn't sure the natural/coffee color was the look I could picture walking down the aisle in. I just thought it was the best party dress though, and it fits in with the vintage theme of my wedding perfectly. So I moved on and found my actual wedding dress, but I can't get the other dress off my mind. So I am desperately searching for a dress that I could buy used or for a bargain as my second dress. I am usually not into the two dress thing, but I'm only getting married once and I think I can splurge a little since my original dress was a vintage find. 

So if you amazing ladies could make the dreams of my perfect wedding day come true I would be forever grateful. I am also not sure what size I should be looking for. I am 5'2", 110-115 lbs and I usually wear a street size 0 to 2 US sizes depending on the brand and how bloated I am that particular day. LOL So ideas on what size I should be looking for from you ladies would be appreciated. 

So in summary I am looking for a natural/coffee colored Justin Alexander 8465, in whatever size a street size 0-2 would wear. I will take the dress used or new.

I'm a street size 6-8 and my Justin Alexander dress is a 12 or 14 (I don't remember). If you're looking for a used dress, your best bet is to figure out your measurements and compare them to the seller's since they usually list them.

Thanks for the info! Wow, the dress sizes really are different, I never would have thought they were THAT different. Thanks for the list of sites, I'll keep you updated

I don't know that they're always that different, it looks like a lot of the preowned ones are closer, but it might just be a fluke with the style of dress I have (it's also several years old and a sample clearance, so thinks might have changed).

True, they may have. But thanks for the info of your experience with his dresses though. Every little bit helps. I actually have an appointment this coming Saturday to try on some of his dresses. So I'm hoping after that I will have a better idea of the sizing.

you should try the dress instore first so you know what size  do you need, because each brand has different sizing
