Shoe site suggestions? I'm aware of zappos and major dept stores. Not into dyables. Not afraid of color other than white. Love unique, love affordable and re-wearable.

I worked for years at an upscale restaurant on a gorgeous farm that also had a reception site on the grounds so I saw a lot of weddings. One of my favorite ideas I saw was a girl who got a plain pair of white Keds (tennis shoes, you could also use white Converse All-Stars) and had each member of the bridal party sign them. They were cute, comfortable (I assume), unique, inexpensive, and certainly rewearable. You should be able to get the shoes almost anywhere and get fabric markers in colors of your choice at a craft store.

If you're a member of one of the sample sale websites (like ideeli or gilt), they often have expensive shoes pretty heavily discounted.  I just got a pair of Butter wedges from gilt.com, can't wait to see them in person.

I found mine at Target, of all places. Dark purple peep toe pumps (to match my wedding colors) on clearance for $11. This purchase reaffirmed my love for Target

i know you're already aware of zappos - with so many choices out there, i'd go with the best shipping, return and exchange policy, and that's zappos, hands down! you can buy them way early and then return them within like 6 months, in case you find something better in the meantime.

have fun!  i'm shoe shopping too so it was great to read all the other posts for more ideas!

Any suggestions for people with little feet?  I wear a five and ALWAYS have trouble tracking down grown-up shoes that fit.
