Nylons under slip

I am wearing a mermaid trumpet gown with a mermaid style flaired slip to add shape. Because of the shape of the gown/slip, my legs are fairly close (almost squished!) together in the upper thigh area. My wedding is in August and it might be a very hot day. I don't want to overheat, but I also don't want my legs sticking together in an obnoxious way. Would nylons be the way to go?

I have a pair of shaping nylons that only go to my thigh, maybe go with something like that.

Or even a pair of Spanx, but I wouldn't wear nylons to the toe.

This may sound weird but runners use products like body glide to keep areas from chafing and sticking together. I'd hate to wear hose in the heat, so using something like that may help.

Deodorant between your legs will help you keep dry and from sticking together. Sounds weird, but it helps!

This is what my H uses. I tried the deodorant trick one day and it made be break out in a rash.
