Is a mantilla veil too much?

I really LOVE this Maggie dress and I don't know if a mantilla will be too much. http://www.maggiesottero.com/dress.aspx?page=9&style=S5229 Soryy it's not clicky :(

Re: Is a mantilla veil too much?

  • Eh, probably. If you really like the Mantilla veils then you should wear one (since you only get one time to do this). If it's the simplicity of the veil that you like then look at a plain drop veil.

  • I think you could pull it off.  The dress, while intricate, has simple, flowing lines.

lpstl on P&E wore that dress and a mantilla and looked great.  Yes, you can wear a mantilla.

  • Worry about it in a year.  It's way too early to start matching veils or buying dresses.

  • That dress is gorgeous!!! I think that a mantilla veil would look beautiful with the dress! And...I disagree that it is too early to think about your dress and veil. You are engaged and excited! What bride-to-be doesn't want to start shopping right away. Some comments on these boards are just a little rude to me sometimes.
  • Aww thank you a2crane!
  • i think a mantilla veil would be so pretty...just pick one that suits the gown..there are all kinds..mine isnt too lacy and from a distance looks almost see through..good pick!
