Dress to leave reception

I am having a hard time finding a white dress to wear when we leave the reception.  I have been looking at white bridesmaids dresses but nothing is catching my eye.  What are you wearing when you leave the reception?

What are you wearing when you leave the reception?My wedding dress.  Why are you planning on buying an extra white dress?  Are you planning to leave your reception, change, come back in the new dress, and then leave again?

Ditto Kati.  I'm paying enough for my wedding dress that I'm not going to take it off and put on a dress that is clearly not as awesome.  Seems like a waste of money to me.

The dress is more like a cocktail dress.  We will more than likely be going out afterward with our friends that will be coming in from out of town.  I would just prefer for it to be white.

lol kati. im wearing my wedding dress.  i have no idea why ppl need 2 dresses.  this isn't a broadway musical with costume changes.

I've seen it both ways. Everyone says wearing your gown gets you upgrades when you arrive at your hotel (if you are going to one that night).I've also seen a friend wear a beautiful silk halter top and ivory pants and it was very pretty on her. They were heading in the limo straight to airport, so it was functional.

Try Marchesa! at saks or neimans. The have short cocktail dresses in white. xx
