Veil? No Veil?

I'd much rather prefer a flower in my hair over a veil. I just felt kind of silly as a tried one on with my dress. Is it necessary? Thoughts???

Do what ever you're comfortable with, but no I don't think it's necessary to wear a veil.

It definitely is not necessary.  I was very anti-veil and never wanted one.  Of course, then i tried one on and liked it, so I wore one in the ceremony.  I wouldn't have felt any less like a bride if I hadn't worn it though.

I bought a cheap veil to wear in some pictures, but it just wasn't "me." I took it off after a few shots and just wore a silk flower in my hair for the rest if the day. It suited me much better. A veil is definitely not necessary and not for everyone.
