Veil Shopping

Does anyone know of any veil designers or even dress makers who make veils? If you know of any desigers, world wide, that sell at shops in MA or NH that would be great. Or if you know someone who makes custom veils for a reasonable price. Most of the bridal shops that I seem to find carry Toni Fererici and while they are gorgeous I just can't spend a $1,000 on a veil. I have my heart set on a three tiered veil, but I don't really want to spend of $500. I am also very hesitant on buying one online since I am unable to try it on beforehand. Is this even possible? Thanks a lot!

I'm not sure what the designer is but I ordered my veil from Modern Bride in Bedord. I got a single teir beaded veil for under $150. They might be able to find or design you one that you like.

I bought mine at a trunk show at Madeleine's Daughter and they custom cut/designed it for me.  The designer was Malis Henderson.Erica Koesler, Pronovias, Christina Garcia, Symphony Bridal, Toni Federici, Bel Aire, and Edward Berger are the big names in veils and their prices all range based on length and embellishments.I don't know of anyone locally that hand makes them, but you could call around to some seamstresses and ask if they do and if they offer quotes.  Otherwise, try on as many as you can in bridal shops and bite the bullet for an online experience:  etsy, veil artistry, o bridal veilshop, etc.   Good luck!

Mine was a double layered cathedral length veil. It's a Toni Federici and I bought it at Madeliene's Daughter. Mine also doesn't have any embelishments, so that didn't add to my price. MD didn't carry my veil in their stock, but I went during a trunk show and I am so glad I did. You should try finding when shops of veil trunk shows because there are usually some sort of benefit to it.GL!
