HELP with the Marisa size chart!

I am ordering my dress online soon and I'm worried I will get the wrong size. I am a street size 2, but Marisa puts me at a 10 (33/26/37)! Has anyone ordered a dress from her encountered the same problem? I am getting an 840, which is fit to flare so the hip and wait measurements do matter!

Hmmmm....well I bought Marisa 793 and I am usually a street size 4 or 6 in regular clothes.  The chart had me marked as a 12!!.... but my bridal consultant told me to go with the 10.  I tried on a size 10 at the bridal shop and it was realllly big.  She had to clamp a lot.  I know I will have to get a lot of alterations but she said it is better to order a little bigger so you can alter it to your body.Marisa wedding gowns run very small too.  You are smaller than me so I would go with a 6 or 8.  Can you go to a bridal shop and try it on? Thanks! I'm going to order it online, probably from netbride. But I did call my local salon and found out when I tried it on there it was a size 10. So I know for sure that is too big.

I had the Marisa 815, an a-line, so perhaps that's why this is different, but my street size is a 12, the size chart put me at a 18, but I tried on a 12 and it fit.  I ordered a 14 to be on the safe side and it had to be taken in a LOT.  It seems the style of the dress matters a lot...

I also bought 793 and am a street 6-8, but because of my bust line had to order a 12 rather than a 10. If you're that concerned, I would try to find a store that has Marisas and try some on.

I'm a street size 4-6 and by him measurment (38) put me inbetween a 10 and 12..I went with the 12 gut when it came in I found I could of easily went with the 10 b/c my 12 is big on me.  I would go with an 8-10 to be safe you can always get it taken in
