dress problem.. HELP!!

Hi Girls! I went to try on some dresses today.. the shop i went to has beautiful dresses but a super terrible reputation. Apparently they always order the wrong dress, wrong colors, etc.. sooo most people just find their dress their and go elsewhere to buy it. Well, apparently the shop caught on because i found a dress that i love love love.. and they couldn't seem to tell me the designer or style number. I thought i saw her write down 4155 and she said she THINKS its Mori Lee. I can't figure out how they were going to order a dress for me if they don't know who it is. Anyway, i searched through the Mori Lee dresses and can't find it anywhere. I was told you girls are pretty amazing at finding any dress. Just thought i'd see if anyone could help. I only have a pic of the front right now but the back laces up and has a medium length train. Let me know if you can help!!![img]http://i614.photobucket.com/albums/tt222/kccody8/yay.jpg[/img]

Unfortunately, I don't recognize the dress. Do you know the price? That would help narrow down what designers might have made it. Also, if you have the website of the store you went to, it will most likely list most of the designers they carry, and that will help narrow your search. You might consider e-mailing a picture to some other local wedding stores. You could say you tried it on out of town or some such thing if you didn't want to admit the real reason. Finally, I'd strongly recommend you leave a scathing review of the store on Google reviews.

Check on leaving a scathing review.. jerks. I'm pretty sure it was $880 and the stupid store doesn't have a website for some reason. Ahhh.. i'm still searching everywhere!!!

Hmmm, you could call them and say you're considering making an appointment and ask what designers they carry. If they only carry 10 or 15 designers, it wouldn't take TOO long to go through all of them.

good thinking! that'll be my next move! i actually called and told them my mother and family live out of town and i want to send them a picture because she is buying the dress. i told them i need the designer and number so that i can look it up online and email it to her and then i'll come in and order after she sees it. They're supposed to call back so if they don't i'll do that! Actually i'll just do that anyways!

I really think it's a Maggie Sottero! the top looks so much like the maggie (Michele) I just ordered (though diff on the bottom) and the price is similar (unless is swarovski beading instead of reg crystal/glass).  I'd search maggie...

First of all it looks like an Allure to me.  You could email some of the better discounters, say Netbride.com or Pearlsplace.com and ask them if they recognize it.  If it is a Maggie you will not find it discounted but it helps to get a reference as to the real price.

I would just call out the consultant! Just ask her how you are supposed to feel confident that she will order you the right dress if she can't figure out the style number and who makes it??? I would demand an answer...consumers have the right to do research before they make such a large purchase. Good luck!
