Is anyone wearing an heirloom dress?

I was curious how many of you are wearing mother's/ grandmother's dresses. I'm wearing my grandmother's from the 50's I got slightly altered (lowered the waist and removed old lace from the top) Anyone else wearing a family member's gown??

i'm not wearing an heirloom dress, but i will be wearing my mother's 3-tiered cathedral length veil. i have to have a little bit of work done to it, but look forward to one day passing it down to my daughter's in hopes of creating an heirloom!

Do any of you have pictures?  I'd love to see them  2 of my friends will be wearing their grandmothers dresses, and I can't wait for their weddings.

I wore a 1950's wedding gown I bought on Ebay, and I loved it!  I so wish my mom or grandmother had a wedding dress I couldv'e worn, because it's so much more special.  I always wanted to wear a vintage gown.
