Short Dress brides?

Anyone going with tealength dresses?   I am in love with the look of tealength and will probably go with that.  It is fun, and definately my style.  I love Dolly Couture dresses and want to order from  her.  Here is the hitch...I haven't tried on any dresses yet.  I am going dress shopping on Oct 3.   I am going to mainly look for tealength just to get an idea of how they fit my body type- hoping they are flattering enough.  because that is what i really really want!  Anyone else go short?  have pics?  suggestions?

Re: Short Dress brides?

  • My dress is full length, but I also love the tealength ones, they are so pretty!! When you find yours you will defintely have to post pics.
  • I am converting my dress to tea length (photos in bio...but it's not altered yet!....they just quickly pinned it).  I love tea length!  Dolly Couture is so cute.  A talented seamstress may be able to convert a dress too though.  I only went to one dress shop and I didn't love their 2 tea dress options.  You may also be able to have an etsy seller make you a custom dress.
  • I'm wearing at tea length gown.  PIB, I bought it at unique-vintage.com.  I love dolly couture also.  I only tried on a few dresses, I knew I would have to have one made or buy it online, so I opted for the one online, I paid way less to do it that way than have it made.

  • cgcookie- if you want to email pics you can send them to mrs.toft2be at gmail dot com   I don't live near a Stephanie James boutique either, but I do love those dresses as well.  I think they are pretty pricey compared to Dolly though.  (another reason i like Dolly Couture...her prices seem doable for me, even with customization)
