Trumpet Dress

I have this beautiful dress - I actually found it online, but it's my dream dress. The problem is, the last time I tried it on, it was still pretty tough to walk in. I am having the seamstress let it out, but she can only do so much. Has anyone else had this problem?

I have a trumpet dress as well and have only tried it on twice since it came in this past May..I remember thinking it felt a little strange to walk in since it was tighter around my thighs than I'm used to..and walking up on the pedistal at the bridal shop was a bit of a challenge as well..I'm not going to have it altered though because I love the way it looks..I just figure I'll practice walking in it a bit before the wedding.  I love the shape so the slight discomfort is worth it to me! :-)

It's usually looser around the thigh area so that you can walk around in it. If it's constricting, you may want a bigger size. I even did a little hip hop routine in mine ) http://tinyurl.com/kowstq

When I ordered the dress, they asked for my measurements and made it for me. And now I am having it altered (it's a little long and I wanted her to loosen the thigh area). I get to try it on again on Friday...I'm excited, but a little anxious that it fits the way I want it to. I would include a picture of it, but I don't know how...
