BM Dresses from House of Brides???

Ladies,The BMs dresses that I like are all over $200 (Watters) - way too much to ask my BMs to pay.  So I checked House of Brides and they are much less there.  I tried to call but they don't pick up right away.Has anyone had any experience with them?Do they order the dresses from the designer when I place my order (so that they will all be cut from the same fabric roll) or do they merely pull previously-purchased dresses off of their shelves and ship?If anyone knows of any other place where we can get nice dresses at a good price, please let me know.  In particular, I am looking for non-strapless chiffon long dresses for 150 or less.  I am targeting a light pink color but can check that out myself if you've got any ideas of stores or designers.

I've heard mixed reviews on HOB - they are an actual store in Chicago and I have heard a few horror stories so I avoided them - they will order the dresses from the designer though once you place your order just like any other bridal store and not merely be taking them off the shelf, so they should be the same coloring.Some highly recommended places are usually Pearl's Place, Netbride, RK Bridal, and Jay's Bridal - all these offer most of the designer BM dresses at better prices than you'd find locally.I personally got my BM dresses at Pearl's Place for a great deal and they were easy to deal with, dresses came early, and I saved on taxes since they are base out of Lousiana (they too are an actual store) -I couldn't be happier with them - you need to call to find out the price and order but it's a very simple process - HTH! I have 7 bridesmaids who ordered Wtoo dresses from House of Brides online because the dress I picked was $225-$275 in the stores here but $150 on their site. All have come in on time and in perfect condition. I'm not sure what the complaints about them have been but we had no problems.
