DB Candy Pink?? # 83312?

This is cross-posted on Wedding Party... but I thought that someone over here might be able to help too. I've been having lots of trouble figuring out what to have my BMs wear. After going back and forth, we kind of figured it'd be easier to just go with David's Bridal dresses. I love 83312 and will probably go with that style. I've seen the dress in person and like it, so that's not the problem. However, I haven't been able to locate a store in my area that has 83312, the short cotton sateen dress, in Candy Pink. Can anyone post pictures of their Candy Pink bridesmaid dresses... and if it's 83312... that would be even more amazing! Thanks!

  • i can't help at all with your questions (sorry) but have you looked at alfred angelo for BM dresses? their prices aren't bad, and they have them all over the place and can be ordered online, and honestly, i've had better customer service from AA than i've had from DB - and my wedding dress is from DB :/ HTH, they also have like 6 different shades of pink to choose from.
  • i was going to go with candy pink but man it looks so old... i dont know, the color just seems off to me.
  • i don't have any pics (and i can't recall if ive seen the dress in candy pink)... but the color is pretty accurate, even if it's in satin or chiffon. im using candy pink sashes for my BMs. its not my first choice, but it works.and a bit of info: men's wearhouse only has one style of vest/tie that coordinates with the candy pink color. one of their other vests comes in "pink" and DB discontinued the color. :(
  • My recommendation since the dress comes in the Candy Pink... have the bridesmaids first try ANY style on in Candy Pink to see if your LOVE that color on the girls... sometimes a color may seem beautiful until you put it on your one bridesmaid who has a "pink" undertone, and suddenly it's a horrible color because it's making a bridesmaid look like a stick of Extra Sugar Free Gum. If you still love the color on your bridesmaids, then have the bridesmaids try the style on in ANY color to see if you like the style on. The wonderful thing about this style is that it's actually quite flattering on most sizes (I own the dress in the Ivory/Tangerine floral print). Once you're set on the color, then you can order them in the proper sizes in the color. Sometimes Davids Bridal has dresses only in common colors and some colors, even though advertised, are considered "special order".
