Maggie Sottero Anatstasia, light gold

Hi all! I bought my wedding gown (Maggie Sottero, Anastasia) this weekend but ordered it in a color I haven't tried on. The bridal shop had a sample in diamond white but I thought it was too bright for my skin tone (fair skinned, dark hair). I ordered it in diamond white lace over light gold. Does anyone have pictures of this gown on yourself or someone else? Any fair skinned brides out there wear gold? Just looking for a little reassurance. Thank you!

I'm very fair skinned and I ordered my maggie in ivory over light gold (the karena royale).  The picture for that gown is in that color also.  I think it's very flattering, and the gold isn't very gold at all really.  It's VERY subtle.  (the sash on my dress stands out a lot more than the underlay does)Very pretty btw!

there are lots of maggies in light gold in the salons... i would have tried on one in that same fabric if i were you.  but since you already ordered there isnt much you can do (you can try calling right away since it's only been a few days).  i wore maggie gold.

My wedding gown was a Maggie in light gold...the color is beautiful, and I picked it for the same reason as you...I have similar coloring. I would not really call it gold...it is just a deeper ivory. I LOVED mine

There are several pictures of brides wearing Anastasia in light gold on Maggie's website in the Maggie Brides section. It's a beautiful dress. I ordered Karena Royale in light gold because I'm fair skinned as well. I can't wait for the dress to come in. I love the color!

The lace stands out so much more.

Thanks everyone! As it turns out, I am going to go to another bridal shop this wekeend and try it on in the light gold. I'm 90% sure I made the right choice but am excited to find out for sure this weekend rather than waiting until May for my first fitting!

I tried on my Maggie (Adelaide) in white. I'm definitely not a 'white dress' bride. I knew I wanted it in light gold, but was too impatient to wait for it to come in. I went ahead and ordered it and 3 months later I put it on and couldn't have been happier with the outcome. I'm normally dark skinned, but over the years I've lost a lot of color due to living in cold weather states where sun is minimal. My skin looks perfect against the subtle gold.
