Designer Dress Replicas -- Nightmare or Savior?

Ok, So I am in LOVE with the Rosa Clara TWO collection, but the bridal boutique I planned on working with just informed me that TWO is not sold in the united states.  Only the regular collection is.  I am heart-broken and half tempted to fly to Spain to get one of their dresses.
I am considering the option of just having one of these dresses replicated for me. (I don't know which one I want yet--there are so many great ones in the collection, and it's all my style!)

Does this ever go well?  It seems really scary and like you could spend a lot of money and end up with a piece of junk.

ANy thoughts?

And here's the link to the collection I LOVE:

  • so one of the salons cant get a sample in for you? - I was looking at the collection and I wouldnt pay for a replica - you can find very similar dress designs that are sold here in the states...
  • If you can't see the replica dress in person, don't get it.  You should be able to see it, feel it, try it on before making a commitment.  Take the photo of the dress you love to some stores and see what they have similar to it.
