Designer Dress Replicas -- Nightmare or Savior?

Ok, So I am in LOVE with the Rosa Clara TWO collection, but the bridal boutique I planned on working with just informed me that TWO is not sold in the united states.  Only the regular collection is.  I am heart-broken and half tempted to fly to Spain to get one of their dresses.
I am considering the option of just having one of these dresses replicated for me. (I don't know which one I want yet--there are so many great ones in the collection, and it's all my style!)

Does this ever go well?  It seems really scary and like you could spend a lot of money and end up with a piece of junk.

ANy thoughts?

so one of the salons cant get a sample in for you? - I was looking at the collection and I wouldnt pay for a replica - you can find very similar dress designs that are sold here in the states...

If you can't see the replica dress in person, don't get it.  You should be able to see it, feel it, try it on before making a commitment.  Take the photo of the dress you love to some stores and see what they have similar to it.
