Bridesmaids alterations

Hello all!  My bridesmaids' dresses are coming in the first week of September, the wedding is October 9th.  Is this enough time for bridesmaid alterations?  I'm afraid I ordered the dresses too late....

That's plenty of time.  It's not like they're bridal gowns.

My bridesmaid's alterations will take 3 weeks, but she's probably been scheduled down the queue because my wedding is a while away.  Seamstresses understand deadlines.

That is plenty of time for alterations, no worries!

It should be plenty of time, but it might be a good idea to talk to a seamstress before the dresses come in.  That way she knows to expect your BM dresses and you can get on her schedule.

That should be fine. All my girls got their alterations at the same place and it only took 2 weeks.

Whew!!  Thanks, ladies!  You've made me feel  less anxious about it! Now here's hoping the dresses actually come in on time.  :-)
