I am trying to find a veil to go with my dress. My problem is that my dress is some shade of ivory and I'm not sure which one. I also bought the dress second hand and it fits me perfectly as is. So I do not have any swatches of it. How should I go about shopping for veils without lugging my dress around with me? Also, if I find a veil online, how can I make sure its the right color?

Tulle comes in white, ivory, and off-white. There's not a large variety on the market. Sure, you may get a different dye lot, but all ivorys will essentially look alike. When indoubt, go a shade lighter than the dress. In sheer fabric that appears as a better match than a darker shade.
