I went.  Their selection definitely tends toward the higher end...not sure how many choices there are below $1500 that are not samples.  That said, the experience will vary widely based on your consultant.  It is *not* always like the show, and don't pressure yourself to find your dress there.  I would also recommend having a good idea of what you want or are interested in when you arrive -- the consultants seem overwhelmed with requests to "pick something they think would look good" with no direction.  The store also does not allow photographs of you in any of the dresses, unless it is of the dress you purchase (after you've paid).  I definitely didn't find anything there that even made my top 5 -- the highlight of my visit was that I got to meet Randy and Nicole

I'm pretty sure their prices start at $1500-1800, so I imagine those with lower budgets wouldn't go.

From what I've read, the sales pressure is strong.  I've found that pretending to be torn between two dresses helps keep the consultant from going into sales mode at some salons.

I was fortunate to work with a great consultant (Sarah) and there was zero pressure. You are able to request a consultant if you email them.

I doubt I'll find anything but since we will be in NYC I thought it would be fun to go just to go.  Thanks for the tips!  I was scared about the pressure to buy.  Good to hear your tips!

i went for the experience and ended up finding my dress! I had in my mind that they were too expensive and that I wouldn't find anything in my range but that was totally wrong! Do you have more options the higher range you go? Of course! But I gave a price (on the lower end of my budget) and my consultant was pulling dresses way below it for like $700! I was so suprised. The dress I ended up falling in love with was around the original price I gave her but the other dresses I tried on I really liked too! I did not feel like I HAD to buy a dress from there because of the sales person. Check them out. Give them a range and stick to your guns=) Even if you don't find a dress the experience is fantastic!
