Question about shoe height

My dress is being tailored to 3.5-inch heels, possibly as high as 3.75.  Today, I found the most comfortable (and not that expensive) shoes that are 4-inches high.  Would it be possible for me to wear them to a dress tailored for slightly lower shoes?
