Bust...not so much

I just got my dress altered and everything fit perfectly except for the hem so I had it hemmed. Well, with all the working out I've been doing the bust on the dress is just the teensiest loose. Any suggestions on the best way to go about this? Should I get an extra padded bra? Or look into those gel stuffer things... I'm at a loss

Probably this. But if you feel you'd be pulling the dress up all night, it might be worth having it taken in the extra half inch or so.
  • I have no problem keeping it up (my hips do a good job at that), I'm more worried about if I were to bend over I don't want anything to show (like a t-shirt droops down when you bend over). Granted, it's not really loose, just the slightest bit.

[QUOTE]Maybe the seamstress can sew in some of those chicken cutlet looking things to fill up the extra space.

That's what my mom calls them, I almost referred to them as chicken cutlets in my OP but wasn't sure if anyone else would get the reference.

I do want to try and find a bra first, I feel awkward not wearing anything underneath.

  • I don't even know if my "seamstress" can do it. I made the mistake of getting alterations at David's Bridal. I know they can sew in cups, but at this point I just want to get my dress and take it home.  This is my dress:

  • In this picture I don't have anything underneath. I'll see how it fits when I finally get a chance to go try the dress on again.
