Damask bridesmaid dresses?

Soon to be Mrs. P,

I am leaning towards having a damask themed wedding. I saw a dress by Tommy Bahama a few months ago but its no longer on their website. Does anyone know where I can find a damask patterned bridesmaid dress? Preferably black and white. I found a few online that said they were damask but it basically just looked like black and white flowers, not to mention it was like $300! That is WAYYY out of my bridesmaids budgets. We will need for the dresses to be well under $200. Thanks for the help!

RW&Co usually has cute dresses in nice patterns in the summer.

A couple of alternative ideas:

- Look for black & white lace dresses (e.g. white with black lace overlay, or vice versa). Not exactly damask, but a similar feel. I love this one from Alfred Angelo:

- Let them wear black dresses and add a damask ribbon or some other accent

The thing with damask is, a little goes a long way. If you use damask table runners, and also use it in your invitations and programs, that should be more than sufficient to give you a theme without killing yourself finding damask dresses for the girls.

Ring pop: I think your right. I have been in my fair share of weddings and not a single one did I wear a dress that could ever really be worn again. I swore that I wouldnt make my girls do the same. Maybe I will just go with plain black dresses and then get damask sashes made. This actually would be better since, as I'm sure you know, there are TONS of different damask patterns and I would like for everything to be uniform. Thanks for all the suggestions!

we're having a 'toile themed' wedding, which is similar to damask (a bit more flowery and french than stylistic and patterned). I ended up getting bridesmaids dresses at RW&Co and they had a hydrangea black and whtie pattern...and only $98 regular price!

(I actually wore it for our engagement pictures first, and loved it so much I'm getting 'the girls' to wear it as well).
