Groomsmen gifts

I need some groomsmen gift ideas

I really love the personalized cufflinks from hellothula on etsy, I love the idea of initials being engraved, Im just wondering if there are any other sort of more out of the box / original ideas out there before I decide...

My fiance is having 4 groomsmen, not having a best man --
Our budget is $85.00 per person...

Thanks !!

  • Do any of them actually wear/want cufflinks? And many people do not like things with their initials/names on them. Please shop for them (or let your groom shop for them) as you/he would for their birthdays. Don't give them anything wedding-related.

  • IF they wear cufflinks, I would suggest getting each a pair that matched his interests.

[QUOTE]Your husband should be shopping for these things, not you. The best gifts are things that cater to the receiver's interests and tastes, not things that make them go,"Oh yeah, those are the cuflinks I wore and Bobby and Sue's wedding"

This. They are his friends, so he should be the one who knows them best and knows what they would like and should be the one choosing their gifts.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

Going against the grain (and etiquette) a little bit here.  I let FI pick out what he wanted for his groomsmen and he did end up going with cufflinks.  BUT they are all guys that wear suits at work and they are also all a little nerdy.  He did cufflinks in each of their interests off of Etsy - gaming dice, computer parts, bowling pins, etc.  I agree this wouldn't be a good gift if they were all  construction workers, but since they do wear suits and they are a little nerdy, it worked out.

Side note - I say nerdy with all the love in the world!  My FI is having a LAN party for his bachelor party.  When I asked about strippers, he said they'd only be invited if they knew how to play Starcraft.   Smile
