Stilettos on cobblestone?

We're getting married in the south of France (where FI lives), in a little village church. FI is 14" taller than me, so I've purchased 4.5" stiletto heels to wear... but now I'm growing concerned about the fact that the surrounding grounds are cobblestone.  I love how the heels/height look with the dress, and I love being taller. I can't seem to find any wedges with that height on them. Suggestions???

Those should do the trick. You just slide them onto your heel and that keep you from sinking into grass or getting stuck in things like grates or cobblestone.

I would try and find wedges.  I live in London and it's very difficult to walk on cobblestones.  They are slippery and unstable.  I don't think solemates will help to be honest, they aren't like grass.

Yeah, it's not an issue of getting stuck, it's an issue of the ground being vastly uneven.  I don't think I've ever seen shoes so pretty that I'd take a very real risk of breaking my ankle or my neck to wear them.  (And I'm not exaggerating: I've seen plenty of girls take serious falls just at the Paris Las Vegas, and those are fake cobblestones.)  I would very strongly recommend looking for a shoe with a wider heel or a platform.

Victorias secret sells wedge flip flops I am wearing those for the ceremony and my pretty heels for everything else!
