My bridesmaids are beginning to order their dresses for our August wedding. Two of them got fitted together and ordered their dresses from their local David's Bridal store this past Friday. My MOH, however, had yet to order her dress. She just called me today to tell me that she found a used dress on ebay that is the same style, color, size, etc. that she needs (she's kind of thrifty). The auction looks legit but the stock photo of the dress that the ebay seller has listed must be an old picture from David's Bridal because the model in the dress is different from the one on the DB site now and the green "clover" color looks slightly off to me. I want to believe that maybe it's just bad lighting but what if she orders the dress and the color is completely off from the other two bridesmaids? My MOH said she'd contact the ebay seller and ask when they bought the dress as well as DB to ask them if the dye lots would be different. Has anyone else had any issues like this or do the colors stay pretty consistent? I'm starting to freak out a little thinking she'll be the odd one standing out in a different color dress.
