I found the dress I'd like my bridesmaids to wear. My initial plan was to put all of the girls in the same dress but the MOH dress would be pink with a green sash and the other girls would be green with a pink sash. The FG was going to wear a white dress. After looking for a FG dress I realized that my FG is 10 and the dresses were too babyish for her. So I figured I would get her the same dress as the bridesmaids because it comes in children's sizes. Here comes the issue- FI thinks his niece, the FG, should wear the dress in pink with a green sash because "it's more age appropriate". While a part of me agrees with him I now feel like it will look funny if the MOH is in the same dress as the FG. What should I do? I'm leaning toward putting MOH in the same dress as the other girls but I need some opinions before making a final decision.
