Re: .

  • I absolutely agree with you! A friend of mine that I am a bridesmaid for took us to look at dresses and to order her flower girls dress. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. Then more recently they contacted me to make an appointment, but both times when they got to the point when they ask if you have any questions they hung up on me. Both times. They definitely are not recommended by me either. With your experience, holy cow! The manager was too busy to deal with a bride at their store? Seriously?! My experience wasn't in NJ but in Kennesaw, GA. They are one of the worst groups of people to deal with especially for a wedding. What do brides need less of? Stress and worry, and they just add to it.
Love is more than just a feeling. It's commitment, trust, honesty, and patience. Love whom you can trust often and never look back.
  • I'm sorry to hear about your experience . I live in south jersey also I have never been to that one but the Maple Shade location is very nice. See if you can have them send your info to that one I'm sure you'll have a better experience. No one should have to deal with that especially already dealing with the stress of wedding planning already

  • I've so surprised!  I've been to a couple in Pittsburgh (one more than the other just because it's closer to me) and I've only had good experiences.  The first time I went I tried on 6 dresses, a couple of them twice, and the lady helping me couldn't have been nicer!  My sister and I went to look at bridesmaid dresses multiple times (we didn't get them there, but that was because I found 1 I liked better somewhere else), and recently I went with my flower girl and fiances mom to get a flower girl dress.  Every time I've been there they've always been nice.  I think it depends a lot on the location.

I agree with you. I had 2 awful experiences with 2 different NJ DBs. It's pretty well know the DB is hit or miss. But try posting this on the South Jersey board.

  • I agree with PP that DB is pretty hit and miss. I had a good experience (in SC) but have heard bad things. But it also kind of irks me when people get upset because a manager isn't available when you call? Maybe they were trying to please another customer in store at that time. Try thinking how you would feel if the manager was talking to you in person and then just left to take a call. You never know the full story.
  • Got my dress from them as well.  Had a great experience with the sales staff, although some of the people seemed a bit snooty.   But the alterations have been a nightmare.

If I could do it again, I would have bought from somewhere else. Or atleast taken it elsewhere for alterations.

  • Last year my friend bought a flower girl dress from an online shop recommended by her neighbour (who bought wedding dress already from online shop). Nice customer service, low price, she had great shopping experience. Because she was wondering whether she can trust that website. She contacted their customer service for several times. At last placed the order.  Their customer service would give different suggestion according to the customers. If you have any question, just tell them(do not forget keep the emails ).
I have some online shopping experience, hope this will help all of you.

  • Ouch!  I went to the Kirkwood Highway store (Delaware) and had a great experience, maybe try that one?  Sorry you had a bad experience!

  • I'm sorry the experience was so aweful.  Nobody needs unecessary extra stress before the wedding.

The DB here in Boise seems to be really on the up and up because they are very friendly and have awesome customer service.  I could really do without the stupid bell-ringing thing, but if that's the most of my problems with a store, I'm totally ok.
