Here's the situation and if anyone has pictures of something similar, please please post them...
my dress is Ivory, a pretty true ivory. the bridemaid dresses are going to be a bright navy blue, not a dark black/blue but a nice obviously navy blue-blue, and full length. the guys will have black tuxes. my fiance will probably wear a white shirt and ivory/vest tie (found lots of pictures of that online, surprised that i really love the combo). but for the groomsmen...we can't do navy and dont want to do light blue so our option for them is:
a white shirt with black vest/tie or white shirt with silver/platinum toned vest/tie to lighten things up alittle.
does that seem like too many colors up there? i just am having a hard time picturing it. i know in non-full color photos, such as sephia or b/w, it will be fine but what about in person? the girls will have silver shoes which is why we thought of the silver for the guys, however, they will be mostly hidden under the long dresses.
