Dress Update

I've decided to do it! Now I just have to tell my FMIL.

I've been calling bridal shops all morning and so far I've gotten in-touch with one shop that cares Eden Bridal. Does anyone have an experience with Olga's Bridal in Nashua?

Looks like I may have to schedule another trip to Maine.

Where are you located?  I love the Eden dresses and I found a couple of stores in the area on the Eden website, but I don't know if they would carry that dress.  Do you know for sure that Olga's has that particular dress?

For what its worth, I am looking at gowns now and a co-worker mentioned Olga's.  She didn't have anything specific to say except that she got a dress there (not her wedding dress).  She did mention that it's probably not a great place for the very modest, as the owner was very "helpful" in getting her into dress.  My co-worker is a busty girl, so I guess the woman felt she needed some help "arranging" that area.  My co-worker was a little taken aback but not really offended or anything.

The only thing I've heard about Olga's is that to have your dress altered there is not cheap.

Olga carries Eden Bridal but does not have that dress in store. It can be ordered for me but would cost more than the store up in Maine.

A lot of my co-workers have used Olga's in Nashua for alterations, but not for bridal.  She was very helpful when I went to try on veils in her shop.

Maybe you could check NetBride for a quote and save even more, or use it as leverage when negotiating price?

Thanks YB! I'll probably order up it up in Maine but I'm requesting a price on Netbride.

I've used Olga's for alterations, but not for purchasing dresses.  She's very nice and does a good job.  Has been doing alterations for years---she's from Romania.
