NWR: What kind/color tights/hose with Navy dress?

I have a short navy strapless dress I want to wear to my office christmas party. I'm not sure what to wear on my legs...I hate nude hose and would rather go with nothing. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas on tight colors that may look good with navy an still be dressy.

If you have grey or black hose, I'd wear those. But personally I loath pantyhose and would go bare-legged.

grey looks good with pretty much everything.

Something gray or black would look good.  Even brown depending on the shade of navy.  I have a navy dress that I wear with brown tights and boots.

I personally would go bare legged because I hate tights and stockings but I would wear black if I had to.

Ooh, I like the grey tights with the navy dress!  I think you could totally rock a pair of grey sparkly tights with a navy dress like TCbride suggested.

Since I'm fashion challenged with this, do you think I could do the navy dress, grey tights, and a bronzey/brownish patent shoe? Similar to the pic TCbride posted, only more brown the maroon?

I found mine at The Limited. I think you could wear a lot of different colors for shoes. Bronze, grey, tan...blue or navy booties would really pop! Have fun with it!
