Will my dress clash with my wedding theme?

I just found the most perfect wedding dress but it's Ivory and my wedding theme is an all white/black color.  I'm also incorporating some black/white polka dots too.  Do you think my ivory dress is going to go with my black/white colors?  Here is a link to the dress....

The dress is gorgeous!  It's hard to tell in the picture, but how dark (or light) is the ivory?  I don't think it'll be a big deal especially if the wedding is in the evening and you have some candlelight to warm the room.  You may not be even able to tell.  I say go for it :-)

But you do not need to match the decor of your wedding! My dress is white, but the wedding colors are gold and pale pink with cream accents. So I'll be the opposite of you! Don't worry about it, no one is going to be whispering that the bride's dress doesn't match the table linens or anything like that! You'll look beautiful and that's what everyone will be talking about!

Have you ever attended a wedding where you noticed that the bride's dress wasn't the same shade of white as the invites/table linens/napkins/wallpaper/whatever?

I love that dress! (I also love Casablanca!!!) I ordered a Casablanca dress in ivory and unless you're holding it next to something that is bright white, it looks white. Our wedding colors are black, white, and lime. I doubt anyone will even notice that my dress isn't "white".

I LOVE your dress! I'm pretty matchy matchy so I understand your concern but everyone is probably right. No one will notice the difference in colors.

Your dress is gorgeous! I was a Casablanca bride. I wore ivory and it looked pretty white in general.  Don't worry about it matching. No one will notice at all.

only 2 people can tell the difference in whites: other brides, and graphic designers. get the ivory dress, your guests won't notice or care if it doesn't "match."
