Color help

I'm planning an outdoor June 1st 2013 wedding. It is country chic and I would like all my girls to wear cowboys boots with knee length dresses.

I orginally planned for Dark Purple & Lime Green to be my colors, but now I'm worried these might be to dark and "fall" type colors.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

For the most part I think colors can be any time of year. When my brother got married last May, their colors were white, black, and red, since that was her favorite color combination.
It seemed more wintery to me at first, but no one paid notice at the wedding, and it was still SO beautiful.

I don't think there is anything wrong with doing dark purple/lime green. You can add summery flowers in the bouquets/centerpieces (if you're doing flower centerpieces).

You use the colors you love, not according to the season. I was married in May and had every shade of purple I could get.

I think it's fine.  I had dark purple, lime green, and royal blue in August.  It looked great.

nope that sounds wonderful. Ive seen that color combination in a september wedding and just dark purple in a may wedding. Its your wedding do the colors you love. Mines hot pink and white and would do it anytime of the year.

I am getting married Aug. 4 and my colors are dark purple and lime green! I am so in love with my colors and think they are going to look great. Go with the colors you love!
