Lightinthebox.com????

Im asking for a friend, I know that I've seen something about this on this board before but I cant find it.
Has anyone ever used them? Or anyother online store that has high quality dresses for a low price?
Thanks in advance for any ideas.

  • I believe that site usually gets really bad reviews here.

  • That's all we needed to hear. Thank you!

  • Actually, I (and several friends) have bought different dresses there. Even one of my friends bought her wedding dress there.. Everything is made beautifully and ships rather quickly. I've never had a problem with them.. not a flaw in a dress.. not bad customer service.. nothing. Their dresses are high quality and quite beautiful.
  • Be careful they are all knockoffs on that site.
  • I don't know personally but my Aunt's daughter (not blood related) just got married recently and she ordered all her BM dresses there.  My Aunt had no complaints whatsoever and directed me there.  But that's all I got for now.
  • Knock offs? They state that all of their dresses are replicas... so if you're expecting an authentic Vera Wang for $200.. you're crazy. They're not trying to scam you.. at all. They are up-front and honest.
  • I have posted about these sites in China, they are just copy stores that copy gowns from photos.  The deals sound great but what you get is not great.  You might consider Pearlsplace.com, Netbride.com or even RK as relaible places to go and all are reputable.
  • My cousin ordered her gown and all 6 bridesmaid dresses there.. Not only were all dresses gorgeous, but she only paid about $700 for all 7 dresses. I haven't decided yet whether I would be willing to do it, but I am considering it.. For less than $200, even if the gown is awful and can't be altered, I'd still be able to afford another, more expensive designer dress. That's a gamble I may be willing to take; I'm pretty sure I waste $200 on a regular basis on books, house decor, eating out, etc..
