help with bridesmaid dresses - for vintage-theme wedding

hi!

i'm trying to figure out a bridesmaid dress to match the following: my dress is lace with crystal, keyhole back. the colors are white and light champagne with some train.

the wedding is 1930s/1940s vintage theme wedding.

the original bridesmaids dresses i looked at - either have lace, or a floral design - vintage-looking. but my dress is busier than i originally planned. i don't want the ladies' dresses to look too plain with mine.

i'm looking for dresses that aren't crazy-expensive, come in light colors (pastels), afforadable (regular shops are ok), and can be for all body shapes. a lot i know - but if i'm missing something, a shop i may have overlooked - please let me know.

modcloth is great, but you said all body-shapes and I think they only go up to size LG and sometimes they run small...

Check www.unique-vintage.com. Also, there is a retro & vintage board to the left, click on "Wedding Theme Boards" and it will come up. They are all brides who have done vintage/retro weddings, and may have a lot of ideas.

ill probably get some slack for this but I got my bridesmaid dresses on ebay for fourty bucks. They are beautiful rockabilly jive dresses that were only 44 dollars. do a search for 1930's 1940's dresses. I'm sure you'll find something great either way.

Another option if you don't mind the girls all looking a little different is thrift shops. hope you find something you love!
