Bolero? Cape?

I'll be having my wedding early Oct in Northern California. I'm wearing a strapless dress. I'm a bit concerned that it'll get slightly chilly towards the evening. Any ideas on what to wear on the outside in case it gets a bit chilly? I'm thinking a bolero or a cape? Or something else?

I struggled with this as i'm getting married in early June in Boston and had the same dilemma. I went back and forth with ivory, weddingish coverups for my dress but had a hard time buying yet another thing that I'd unlikely wear again and possibly not even wear at all (fingers crossed that its sunny and 80 degrees)...

In the end, I decided to make it my 'something blue' and ordered a light blue cashmere cardigan--which I can definitely wear at some point/again. I don't think my FMIL was impressed with that, but its my outfit, not hers.

Good luck though, there are many beautiful choices out there--whichever you choose!

Lodonnell- that's a very smart idea! I like incorporating it as something blue to be able to wear again. You can probably put it on for A picture too if you'd like!
