Extra Long-Long Line Bra Help!

I'm a tall bride. I'm 6' and I have a long torso.

My dress is a Mori Lee, It's a strapless, sweetheart mermaid dress.

I like the idea of wearing a long-line strapless bra to kind of hold everything in place and keep the line of the dress, but almost every long line bra i've tried on is too short for me. SInce they're too short, they create a bulge. The last thing I want is a fat roll under my dress.

Any suggestions for finding a long-torso long line bra? Or other suggestions for under-dress wear?

thanks!

Re: Extra Long-Long Line Bra Help!

  • I'm not sure how this would work, but I've seen the under-dress things that are either bikini or "shorts" bottomed, and then go up to just below the bust line. So it would be basically for your bottom and your midsection. You'd then of course need an additional bra/cups, but I can see how the average full-body ones might not work for you. Just an idea! VS has what I'm talking about in their stores most of the time.
  • Maybe you could try a corset with cups? Corsets are of course made to be a little longer. This is the one I'm planning on wearing: http://www.fredericks.com/Ultimate_Satin_Corset/51552,default,pd.html?cgidco31start24sz12all1all

  • Thanks Barbiiiee!

I took your advice and ordered the corset from Fredericks. It's long enough! The only thing i worry about is the corset back, becasue my dress has a corset back too, but I think it should work!

Thanks for all your help ladies!
  • Hello! How did this work out. I am running into the same issue. :(
