Jewelry?

I've provided a picture of my dress. I really don't know what to do about jewelry. Should I wear a necklace? The boutique where I purchased the dress recommended that I am careful not to wear a bracelet that could snag or get caught on the dress as it has a delicate fabric and lace pieces.

Any ideas? Suggestions of where to purchase?

My colors are tiffany blue and chocolate brown with silver and white accents. I like the modern with a twist of vintage look. I don't know if that helps but I'm kind of stumped right now.

Thanks :-)
P.S. This was the 'sample' dress...

Re: Jewelry?

  • I personally don't think you need a necklace. The dress is quite pretty and has a lot of  detail.  If you feel "naked" w/o a necklace, definitely do  something very simple.

  • I agree that a simple necklace would be nice. Are you wearing your hair up? You could do some big earrings.
  • I agree with pp's. If you wear a necklace, keep it simple. You don't want to take away from the detail of the dress. If you wear your hair up, you could do bigger earrings, or even a hairpiece.

I agree with PP - something simple (similar to what you're wearing in the pic?) would be the way to go if you really want a necklace.  Beautiful gown!

I wouldn't do a necklace - the top of your dress is so beautiful and has great detail.  I would do earings - maybe chandeliers?  And a bracelet.  Something sparkly for sure!

    Thanks ladies.

I am planning to wear my hair partially up. Mostly down. I have a tiara that has pearls and crystals just as the dress incorporates both, so does the tiara. I am not a "large" earring girl so I planned to wear a simple pearl earring or a pearl with the crystal that wraps around the pearl. Nothing too dramatic. Like a post earring.

    Thanks for the suggestions. :-)
