On February 11, 2013 I attended a taping of the Katie Couric show. The episode was about weddings and the entire audience, including myself, was filled with "brides - to - be." During the show we received a $400 voucher to Kleinfeld to be used toward a purchase of a gown costing $2500 or more. In case you were not aware, this week is Random Acts of Kindness week. As a teacher, we have been celebrating all week by doing little things like writing a "thank you" note to someone, dressing up to feel good about ourselves, and paying it forward. Since I already have my wedding dress I want to continue paying it forward in the spirit of Random Acts of Kindness week by donating my $400 voucher to a Kleinfeld bride in need. Perhaps she will be a single mom, a cancer survivor, or a hard working teacher like myself that may not be able to afford the dress of her dreams.
