What is left for you to do in terms of planning?

We still need ceremony musicians (my dad is taking care of this, so it will prob be last minute); grand entrance, first dance, F/D and M/S dance songs; shirts and ties for the guys; a suit for the ring bearer; and ring bearer pillow.

Ceremony music and cocktail hour music.   We're having a spanish guitarist for the ceremony and cocktail hour and we need to choose what he's going to play.

The guys need their suits (ring bearer, too).  originally I was going to let them wear any black suit they wanted but I'm off that idea .

Wedding party entrance song.

Still need to actually pick the menu and choose the look and flavor of the wedding cake.

Tell the DJ about our first dance song (he'll need to mix 2 songs together)

Need to choose readings and basically decide the flow of the ceremony in general.  My friend is marrying us and that's a bit scary.

There's probably more.

Need to finish a couple DIY progects, put labels on water bottles, prep out of town bags, bunting for around cupcake tower and boat cooler, thank you note for front of favor bags for wedding.  See below:




I need to find a cape/shawl or something to where in the later evening when it gets chillier during the fireworks.  I would like to find some tall flip flop type shoes to wear during the reception to keep my dress from dragging.

Alterations are still being done on my dress and my MOH.  Still need to speak to the band about favorite songs, need to give final count to caterer.

I am sure there is plenty more, by reading each of your posts I get my memory charged.

I didn't even include my DIY projects, ugh!!  Don't want to hink about that!!

Do you want a pair of fancy wedges or something?  or rubber flipflops?

Wedgies would work, I am wearing 4 inch heels for my wedding so my dress will be quite long.  I do not want it to drag during the reception.  We are outside on the river under a tent and at two private houses for the reception.  Any ideas?

Try DSW, too. I was there yesterday and there were a couple of pair of ivory/wedding-y looking wedges.

Reading your post reminded me that I need to do my out of town guest bags!.

We still have a lot to do. We stiil need to pick out all of our music. We reserved our ceremony musicians and reception dj but picked out no songs as of now. We need to pick out our design for our cake, make our custom bar menu, pick out all of the flowers for the ceremony, order our guestbook (I am still waiting on our engagement pics), still need to get ring bearer and dad fitted, pick out accesories for WP, finish with WP gifts, decorate our ceremony canopy, work on our first dance (we are taking lessons), and get the rest of my accesories too. And of course the seating chart. Probably stuff I'm forgetting too!

I still have to: 

-Finish my DIYs: Fan programs; Escort cards; Tissue paper pomanders; Other random decorations

-Contact the DJ (he is booked through my venue), make up a list of Must plays and Do not plays

-Write up what we want the MC (FI's cousin) to say - just a general overview of the night's events basically

-Get my dress fittings done

-FMIL is making her dress, the flower girls' dresses, and my veil - none are done yet but all are in progress

-Do boudoir photos and have a book put together for FI's wedding gift

-Get our rings engraved

-Pick out thank you gifts for 4 of my 5 bridesmaids (one is done)

-Think of thank you gifts for the flower girls, FI needs to do the groomsmen gifts (not my problem!), and buy the gift we decided on for his parents and the officiant (family friend)

-Two of my five bridesmaids have to find their dresses (I'm letting them pick their own)

Writing it out is stressing me out hahah

We are finishing up all of the home improvement projects around the house, and backyard! I have my first fitting this Saturday. I still have to finish making the favors (about 50 to go). I can't belive how fast the time is going by...it will be here before we know it!!! Yikes!!!!
