I'm in a bit of a pickle with picking shoes to wear with my dress for my wedding. I sprained my ankle at my sister's graduation a couple weeks ago and my doctor says I should avoid heels, uneven surfaces, etc. My wedding isn't until August 5th but I'm still worried about my ankle. I wouldn't mind not wearing heels but the problem is I need the height since my fiance is 5' 9" and I'm just short of 5'. I have some Old Navy white platform sandals and thought that might be a good alternative (I could decorate them a little bit too). I've asked my bridesmaids and they said it was fine since you won't be able to see them under my dress (I've attached a picture of my dress) but I wanted someone else's opinion. What do you think?
