Questions for the florist

Hi Ladies,

I think this question was already asked a while back...

I'm meeting with my florist for the first time on Saturday, Bonnie at Coll's Florist in Jaffrey NH.

Just curious what kind of questions I should go in with.  I have prepared a list of who needs flowers (BM's, Mom's etc) already.  Is there anything specific I should be asking?

Also, what if any kind of flowers can I get away with not having.  I just don't want to get talked into anything I don't need when we don't have a lot to pay for flowers.

When I had my first meeting with the florist, I brought a list of what I will need for flowers - bouts, bridesmaids bouquets, moms, etc. I asked her to list out specifically how much each bouquet will cost so that if the quote was too high, I would know where to begin to cut back. I went to the meeting with only a little idea of colors and types of flowers I wanted. In terms of staying in budget, I would be very up front with the florist and tell her that you have a strict budget and need to stay within it - they're usually very willing to meet your needs. Hope this helps a bit!
