Hi, new here
Soo, I made the mistake of buying my dress a year before my wedding because my Dad and sister were in town. I found one I liked a lot, but I wasn't blown away even though I liked it very much. Fast foward to 8 months before my wedding, and everything I thought my wedding would be has changed, including the type of dress I really want. I went from wanting a simple lace dress to a very poofy, satin ballgown, lol. So I'm considering buying a new dress, and trying to sell the first one. On Monday I will be going dress shopping again, by myself, just to try on some different styles and see if this is just cold feet or if I really do want a different silhouette.
My question is, how hard is it really to sell a wedding dress? It's brand new, unworn, with tags, and no alterations (except that because the hem ends in a scalloped lace edge, it had to be made to my height and cannot be hemmed shorter from what they told me - it's Allure 8701).
If anyone has had experience selling a wedding dress, I would love to hear. I'm nervous that it will be difficult to sell or go for way less than I paid (it was $1150 with tax, it would be great if I could get at least $850).
