dye lot question

My bm are wearing navy chiffon bill levkoff dresses. They each are picking a different style dress (6 total). When we went to get my moh dress yesterday they said to all order at the same time. My question is if this is true will a retailer like bill levkoff, and if it would even be noticeable since the styles are different. I have 2 out of state bm, and it would be easier if they could go somewhere local. So are dye lots a concern, or was the lady at the salon just looking for higher commission?

It is very unlikely that there will be a noticeable difference.  The lady at the salon just wants the commission.

It is POSSIBLE that it will be a TINY TINY TINY difference in shade, but would only be noticeable if you're putting the dresses directly next to each other in bright light.

I wouldn't worry about it. I always worried about it as well, because for years bridal salons told you all dresses needed to come from the same dye lot. 

My BM's are ordering from David's Bridal, and when I asked about that very thing I was told it wasn't a big deal and each bridesmaid should order from the store closest to them.
