I've always envisioned myself walking down the isle in an absolutely stunning pair of high heeled, bright blue shoes. That is, until I actually looked at the ligistics of an outdoor, rocky mountain wedding. While stunning standing still, not too sure the high heels will be a great asset when walking through the woods towards an aspen grove. I definitely want to keep my something blue on my fee though. Any ideas? I'm short, 5'2, fiance is 6'0. The theme is a rustic elegance, think the mountains paired with an old hollywood glamour. The dress is pronovias huella style (mermaid, sheer lace straps, deep v's in front and back, lace and beading, with a long train.
Can I make boots work? Flats? Should I suffer through the stumbling of heels on rocky terrain? The wedding date is Oct. 4 (fall in the mountains) which means, weather wise, either 60s and sunny or 3 feet of snow on the ground.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks ladies.
