Bridesmaid Cover-Ups---Suggestions?

My bridesmaids are all wearing strapless dresses, but this has raised some concerns as far as being dressed appropriately for the mass. I'm looking for a cover-up idea that isn't tacky (think HS prom shawls) or old lady-ish (many boleros/jackets at David's Bridal). The cover-up is only for the church and won't be worn once the ceremony is over unless the girls so choose. Any suggestions/tips/help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

My MOH is wearing a cardigan because she doesn't want to show her arms. They're cute and mass-appropriate, and if you wanted to fancy it up a bit, you could go cashmere.

None of them really have a preference. 4 out of 5 of them wouldn't have thought twice about bare shoulders--which is fine--but it's important to my fiance and I as well as our family and priest.
