Has anyone been to Aidan James Salon, Nashua?

I was just wondering if anyone had been to this salon or had heard anything good or bad.  I was thinking of booking them for my wedding, but I don't live in NH so booking a salon I've never been to before makes me kind of nervous...  Thanks!

  • I have not been there....but I absolutely love Salon Apryl in the Crowne Plaza hotel.  Apryl the owner is going above and beyond for my sister's wedding.  We have the salon for the day on St. Patrick's day.  She is providing bagels, mimosas, and other beverages.  I just went this week for a cut and color and it is the best color I have gotten in a long time.  They also do makeup there.

  • Thanks so much!  I'm not sure if this is rude to ask, but do you know about how much it is costing the bridesmaids for hair and makeup and also if the styilsts are willing to travel?  I'm so nervous about picking a place that I've never been to :)
  • It was 80 for the girls hair and 50 I believe for makeup.  It was all about convenience for us since we are getting ready at the Crowne Plaza and that is where the reception is.  She does not travel but does shut down the salon just for the bridal party so that is nice and she supplies bagels, mimosas, and other beverages.

  • Thank you so much.  Like I said, you can use me as a referal.  Not sure if you get anything for it.  I can PM you my name

  • That would be great!  Thanks so much! :)
  • I went to Aiden James for my haircut and she did a pretty good job. They seem really up-to-date on trends. The hairdresser told me they are a Nick Arrojo studio. Good luck!
  • I was never given the opportunity.  I was so excited to book them after hearing great things about them.  I called them up about 3 1/2 months before the wedding to give them the contract/ deposit, and was assured multiple times my wedding date was open, and was even told my name was penciled in the book for that day.  I was told I didn't need to come in the store to drop the info off, but to email it.  Their website has no email option, so i submitted the info through thier contact us box.  I waited about 3 weeks, and never got a response.  I messaged on facebook, again waited about a week, and got no response.  I finally went to the store, gave my info in writing, and was assured the date was open.  After a week, and another assurance that the date was open, I was told that they couldn't accomidate my wedding.  Brides beware!  I can understand if they didn't have availbility on that day, but it was extremely disappointing that i would be strung along for weeks, told not to worry, even told i was penciled in.  The lack of communication should have alerted me at the beginning that they would blow me off, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.  Now two months before the wedding I have to find a hair and makeup vendor.
